Arctic Machine Oy has purchased 70 per cent of Infotripla Oy. The sellers are the company’s founders and owners Juha Laakso and Kimmo Ylisiurunen, who will continue in the company management and as minority shareholders.

“Arctic Machine’s strategy is to be an active operator in the digitalisation development of transport and infrastructure. The corporate acquisition expands the company’s existing iROAD telematics product family with versatile cloud service solutions. To achieve our goals, Infotripla’s long experience in the field and highly competent personnel offer an excellent complement to our existing product selection,” says Arctic Machine Managing Director Juha Jääskelä.

“Arctic Machine’s strong expertise in road maintenance and international networks give Infotripla an excellent new channel to leverage the company’s expertise, services and digital service platform at the core of domestic and international traffic information markets. This also reinforces our role with our existing customer base,” says Infotripla Managing Director Kimmo Ylisiurunen.

The digitality and servicification of transport and mobility open an extremely interesting opportunity for Arctic Machine and Infotripla to offer increasingly high-grade innovations to existing and new customers in order to enhance their operations and serve their customers. Data and information play an increasingly vital role in solving the challenges of the revolution in mobility – in the fields of smart cities, road maintenance and autonomous traffic of the future alike.

After the acquisition, Infotripla continues as an independent company, and the acquisition does not affect the company’s personnel or customers.
